Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Shiki. Effective 2026-07-28.

These terms are short on purpose. Using Shiki means you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Agreement

Shiki is a small-crew habit accountability app operated from the United States. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. They apply to the iOS app and to shiki.studio.

Eligibility

You must be 13 or older to use Shiki. An account requires Sign in with Apple. One person per account; you are responsible for what happens under yours.

Your content

Your habits, photo proofs, comments, messages, and profile are yours. You grant Shiki the limited license needed to store them and show them to the crews you share them with - that is the whole point of the app, and it is the only thing the license is for.

Photo proofs are deleted from our servers 24 hours after upload, by design. Deleting your account removes your data immediately. The privacy policy describes both in detail.

Objectionable content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in Shiki. That includes harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, and anything unlawful.

To escalate anything, email support@shiki.studio. We read reports and act on them.

Acceptable use

Don't impersonate others, don't harvest data, don't probe or break the service, don't use Shiki for anything unlawful. Crews are small and private; treat the people in yours the way the app treats you - quietly and with respect.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and cascades through your data. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

The service

Shiki is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We ship carefully, but we are a small operation: features may change, pause, or be discontinued, and occasional downtime happens.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiki and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months - which, today, is nothing, because Shiki is free.

Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and the effective date at the top. Continuing to use Shiki after a change means you accept the new terms.
